 In 1979 Harris was filming a talent show where he met ambitious boy that was participating . Turns out he does an imitation of Olivia Newton John complete in black leather and blonde wig. What unfolded was a strange, funny and moving portrait of this outsider. Not willing to let go of the story, Harris created two fictional sequels first with Sean Penn and later with Crispin Glover.
